I am a Vedic and Western Astrologer. My spiritual journey began with my deep search to find the answers and guidance to many questions and situations I was facing at a difficult time in my life. As I sought out guidance about my life path, I discovered Western Astrology first and as I studied this system, I came to learn and understand that Western Astrology teaches you about the psychology, behavior and the experience of life of an individual, but as someone who considers herself to have a profound thirst for knowledge, I was still in search for more.

 

This is when I came across Vedic Astrology where ancient wisdom meets modern guidance. This system emphasizes a more deterministic approach, focusing on karma and destiny. This karmic system allowed me to see how the planets have aligned in my personal birth chart to understand what Karmic influences affect all areas of my life.

Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish, is an ancient system of astrology that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is part of the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of Hinduism, and is considered one of the oldest and most comprehensive forms of astrology practiced today.

Like Western astrology, Vedic astrology also focuses on the positions of planets at the time of a person's birth. It uses the sidereal zodiac system, which considers the actual positions of the constellations in the sky. The foundation of Vedic astrology is based on the Vedas, particularly the Atharva Veda, which outlines the principles and practices of astrology. It is intertwined with Hindu philosophy and spirituality.

The biggest blessing I have received is to know and understand both Vedic and Western astrology. This profound cosmic tool has been instrumental in healing, shaping and guiding my steps to my life purpose.
